London City Airport unveils new duty free offeringIt was my dream to take a flight from the london city airport one day. I work at the airport but have never taken a flight out of the country. So when I had the opportunity to take a flight from there I grabbed it with both the hands. There is nothing like this airport in the world and I can bet my house on it. I took a flight to the Bahamas with my wife for my honeymoon. I was a wonderful occasion and I really enjoyed my trip to the Bahamas.

But another thing that I really about the airport is the taxis that one can hire to get home. So far I had always taken a bus to get home but when I returned from the Bahamas with my wife I hired a taxi to get home. The taxis are so comfortable that given a chance I could travel in them the whole day.

A Good Alternative Vacation Activity

I am pretty sure that a good nashville boating session will be the best thing that I can do right now. I have been wanting to get away from it all for awhile, but I haven’t really found the time to do so. Now that I have a destination, I think that I will go through with it. I would really love it if someone comes with me. I haven’t asked anyone yet, but who can really resist a boating vacation? I love charters where the captain takes us around and we can just sit back, relax and enjoy the view. I had no idea that these things were available, but I sure am glad that they are. I think that they are quite worthy of my time. Instead of relaxing on land, where my wife would probably want to go shopping all vacation long, we can spend some time on a boat.

Always Traveling to the Same Places

Often people who travel always tend to go to the same places, the Europe travel magazines always write about the same destinations, and the guide books always bring up the same places to visit.

I was seriously thinking of taking my travels in a new direction, not next year but perhaps the year after that.

Next year in 2012 me and my boyfriend will be spending most of our time taking our business to the next level, in many different ways.

We have so many ideas, and while earlier on we had the excuse that we did not have enough money, this is simply not true anymore.

Now the excuse would be that we do not have enough time, but that is something we can easily change if we just set our minds to it.

So there will be less traveling, but in a new way, settling down in a place and travel every once in a while does not sound too bad at all, the question is just where to settle.

However, I would in the future like to visit some places that not everyone always visit, or at least some places that I have never myself thought of visiting, I will also be spending more time in every country so that I can see more of it.

Next time I visit Czech Republic during my Europe travel tour I will make sure I go to some other cities in the country and maybe even some smaller villages.

I have done enough fast paced travel to know that it is just not my preferred way of traveling, and why do something you do not really enjoy?

I also know that by settling down for longer in one place both saves you money, allows you to stay up to date and develop your business rather than always be “catching up”, and makes it possible to live a slightly more normal life with routines and friends and simple things in life.

I Might Stay Here for Awhile

The Peru Spanish school that I am going to has the right idea. What is better than learning Spanish where Spanish is spoken? It is probably one of the better decisions that I have made in my life, and I am pretty proud of it too. The best part about it is getting to live in Peru. I suppose that there are just some issues that I need to tackle before I leave. You see, living here has made it rather difficult for me to actually thinking about living somewhere else. I honestly feel like I might want to stay here, even after all the schooling is done. I do hope that my family will allow me to do this. It might be hard on them at first, but when they see how this will truly benefit me, I hope that they will definitely change their minds about these things.

Each of us clearly knows that a perfect balance of these three elements will guarantee us a good long lasting life. We also know for sure what we must do or not do to achieve these fundamental goals. It is already known that travelling and having a positive attitude in life makes us healthier and happier.

A couple of months ago I read an article by Andrew Hough (telegraph.co.uk; March, 2011) revealing that according to recent scientific evidence people who are happy and positive about life live longer. The argument is that a health life is not only about good eating habits but also positive attitudes towards most of our life experiences. Personally I do not think this makes any news because we know all that and this knowledge has been around for centuries but let me know if you do not agree with me.

My greatest concern however is: IF WE KNOW WHAT WE MUST DO OR NOT DO IN ORDER TO BE HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND HAPPY and thereby live a long life; why are the majority of people on this universe not HEALTHY, not WEALTHY and not HAPPY?!!

Someone may say they do not want to live a long life and as such Health, Wealth and Happiness is not very important to them. I do not subscribe to such an argument but my possible guess is that they have a certain human weakness that limits them from doing what they know or they do not put into action the knowledge that would enable them to be Healthy, Wealthy and Happy.

Some people who have taken Costa Rica vacations will tell you that it’s a dangerous country full of criminals. More than likely they had a petty crime committed against them and this is how they now view the small Central American country. It is easier to criticize what you don’t know. Costa Rica does have petty theft, just like San Francisco, Washngton DC and even Houston. But they have very little violent crime. What little there is usually relates to the drug trafficking business and stays within that world. The three cities mentioned above have just as much violent crime related to drugs as Costa Rica, only they have more violent crimes not related to that. As a traveler, that can be the scariest crime statistic of all. To avoid this, be smart and be alert. If you find yourself walking around what you perceive to be a sketchy neighborhood, get out. Don’t put yourself in situations you wouldn’t in your country. When traveling in crowded areas keep your bags or purse close to your chest so your eyes and hands are on it at all times. These are pieces of advice that are common sense to most, so just because you are on vacation doesn’t mean your common sense should go out the window.
